I used jailbreakme when I was 1.1.1 - what now?

I'd like to upgrade but I'm afriad I'll mess things up. I also do not want to lose my contacts.

To make matters worse, I have a new laptop and my itunes libraries do not match.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Windows-based machine.

iphone pc suite i believe can pull your music off the iphone and there are other apps out to pull the music. iTunes can store your contacts on a backup for restoring and upgrading purposes. also i believe iphone pc suite can store contacts.

So what should I use to mod an already jailbreaked via jealbreakme.com 1.1.1 phone to somehting newer - and still be able to use itunes?
