iPhone boots up to restore screen and iTunes and iBrickr wont read it

my iPhone boots up to restore mode (itunes symbol with data cable) everytime i turn it on. it wont go past there. itunes and ibrickr will not read it. what can i do?

heck just follow the whole thing.

edit: be patient with the recovery mode. try different usb ports, reinstall itunes, restart your computer if you have to. and try letting go at different times of the reboot.

I cannot move from this screen, itunes tries to downgrade but will not. I return to the itunes symbol everytime. Never the triangle.

I ran into ur problem recently. Ibrickr read my
recovering iPod and guided me to restore to 1.0.2 check it out if ur still stuck. You'll need a backup of the 1.0.2 firmware. These files are easily found
