    Default iNdependence v1.2.2 Now Out

The updated iNdependence works for 1.1.1 iphone firmware

    From the Site:

Oct. 15/07 - ok, the long awaited version 1.2.2 is out. This version works with phone firmware 1.1.1, although the activation/jailbreak process is a bit more complicated now. The documentation has been moved from the README file into the Help menu within the application itself, so please read through that before asking questions. Enjoy...

the new independance is great, but is really complicated if you want apps on 1.1.1.

I was hoping that a 1 click solution would be available, but this requires about 20 steps, using both independence and itunes.

perhaps this is just to tide ppl over until a full solution is available?

I am not criticising the devs, they are great to do this for free, but for those interested in doing this - its complicated and messy!

Got everything "Jailbroken" with iNdependence 1.22 but when I sftp in I can log in just fine with Transmit, but I do not have permission to change anything. And when I install the apps or ringtones with iNdependence they do not show up on the home screen. What am I missing here?
