Is there a guide that shows how to unlocked a jailbroken iphone 3G on 4.2.1 with 5.15.04 baseband. I just jailbroke it earlier. I have cydia installed. Do I need to use ultrasnow? I had tried to jalibreak my phone with a older version of redsnow from 2010, but had to use a more recent version to jailbreak it.

I just launch itunes which is 10.7.(21). It said it what to restore my iphone under the set up your iphone:
should i do this. will this bring me to unlock or just restore my apps?

I found the answer. It will only restore my data to my ipod.

Just set it up as new so you don't get no errors / problems. But if u have data u need u can restore from the back up. It won't hurt anything. And for an unlock use ultrasn0w after updating your baseband to the iPad baseband 6.15.

Have a custom firmware file because you won't be able to restore unless you downgrade your baseband.
