Best Model iPhone 5 for Cincinnati Bell Wireless
I would like some input from someone as to which unlocked model of the iPhone 5 that I should purchase for use on my Cincinnati Bell Wireless account. I have listed below the specifications for the three models being released by Apple. Since I have no technical experience, I need help in determining the specific model that I should order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
GSM model A1428*:
● UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz);
● GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz);
● LTE (Bands 4 and 17)
CDMA model A1429*:
● CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900, 2100 MHz);
● UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz);
● GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz);
● LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 13, 25)

Either of the GSM models will work, since you won't be able to utilize LTE or HSPA on Cincinatti Bell's native network anyway (kinda worse off than T-Mobile, to be honest) due to incompatible bands. You're restricted to EDGE data at max.
The AT&T (A1428) model might be a better option when roaming, especially once T-Mobile starts deploying LTE on AWS and refarms its PCS spectrum. It all depends on what roaming options you want.Member of the hackint0sh forums.

Cincybell should be making the switch about the same time tmobile does. It is confirmed that there will be refarming of the network. Just a matter of when tmobile hits cincinnati area.
