How do you unlock and jailbreak an iPhone 4... I am a noob :scratchhead and i am buying an iphone 4 from gamestop used so if you could give me all the links i need that i would need that be great

you can jailbreak using redsn0w, sn0wbreeze, or absinthe

the unlockability will depend on what baseband (modem firmware) the phone currently has

Settings -> General -> About, then scroll down to where you see Modem Firmware

There isn't an unlock for that as far as ultrasnow or Gevey goes. You will either have to git ya provider to unlock it if they can or buy an unlock for it.
