H2O data question
Ok so I know that h2o wireless a little while back only offered 50MB of data, but now it says unlimited on their website. My question is, is it really unlimited and also do they cap it after a while? Thanks really appreciate anybody that takes the time to answer

Yes they now offering everything unlimited for $60 the good thing is that 3G / mms / FaceTime works 100% due to h2o it's an at&t virtual network , that's what I have $h60

Can someone post some speedtest.net results on H2O? That would be awesome.

Not if they're throttled or old lines. That's how Virgin Mobile works and I believe how Straight Talk works.

I know. That doesn't mean AT&T wouldn't do the same thing to H2O.

I bit for the $50 data plan on H2O to test quality before I changed over to H2O full time.
I spent the day running speed comparisons between T-Mobile and H2O.
I had very high hopes that H2O would not be a second tier carrier.
The test phone is a Iphone 16gb 3gs, jail broken and H2O supplied APN mod applied.
A T-Mobile G1 android was a control. Speed Test.net by OOKLA was used for all tests.
Signal levels on T-Mobile side were close but higher than with the H2O sim installed.
The T-Mobile IPhone 2g data rate averaged Ping=490 Download=150kb Upload=40kb
The T-Mobile IPhone 3g data was not available.(T-Mobile 3g data band is not compatible with Iphone hardware.)
The H2O IPhone 2g data rate averaged Ping=900 Download=90kb Upload=60kb
The H2O IPhone 3g data rate averaged Ping=460 Download=300kb Upload=120kb
The T-Mobile G1 Android 2G data was not available.
The T-Mobile G1 Android 3G data rate averaged Ping=185 Download=3155kb Upload=323kb
The Results were ~ double speed on H2O 3G wireless. But not like the T-Mobile 3G results.
I doubt that the H2O speeds are normal ATT rates.
I am open to suggestions as to things to do to speed up the process.
Your mileage may vary.
After posting this I drove around to find a 5 bar location.
The H2O speed here is capped at 300kb.
