Default Unlock Verizon Iphone 4 for Sprint

I already jailbroke my verizon iphone 4 using sn0wbreeze. Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock this verizon CDMA iphone 4 to use on Sprint? Here is a link of a youtube video someone posted but it looks like a total fake:

YouTube - ‪Sprint iPhone Now Possible Via Verizon iPhone Unlock!‬‏

His links are a hoax. ESN changer? i dunno about that... Someone please shed some light on this as I would love it if I could get my iphone to work on Sprint.

This screams SCAM to me. Sprint won't activate any phone that's not in their ESN/MEID database, so yeah, in theory, if there were such a thing as an "ESN Changer" app, you could clone the iPhone to a legit Sprint ESN and use it on Sprint. The theory is sound.
However, a few things stand out about the video:
    1. He is pimping a spammy website that wants to give free iPhones (yeah, right).
    2. His website mentions the hack works for up to 4.3.3. Isn't the Verizon iPhone 4 still at 4.2.8?
    3. SprintBypass.pid? Okay, even if the iPhone could accept provisioning through single file, on a CDMA network you still have to program in your MDN and MSID at minimum! He doesn't have you add any of that info into the .pid file or program that into the phone any place. MDN (your mobile number) and MSID are specific to your account.
    4. ESN Changer app? I'm going to bet that doesn't exist. The ESN/MEID are in a protected NV EEPROM in the Qualcomm chip. I have never heard of any phone whose OS can actually write directly to the Qualcomm chip. If you can't do it on a far more easily hacked HTC phone, I don't see how it's going to happen on a far more secure iPhone. Besides, if such an app existed, there'd be info about it all over the internet. Google doesn't return but only a few hits.

I'm thinking that guy gets paid for every hit or every view of his video, so he set up the scam to make some money.
Also, MEID/ESN cloning is highly illegal. It's a felony, in the US anyway.

Wow gnatgosplat, that was some really good info. Everything you said makes total sense I knew it was too good to be true. I guess I'll have to keep my iphone 4 on Verizon service. I sure hope that douche bag in the video gets hit in the head with an iPhone. What a total SCAM!!!

    1st post.

I proposed this in a different forum...

Compare sprint and verizon iphone, all files. Wherever they are different those files would be the ones that would need deletion or altering to gain access to meid, carrier triggers, mdn changing, etc
