Simple Mobile MMS... Can't receive
I can send, but I can't receive MMS on simple mobile. I am on 4.2.1 iPad 6.15.00 BB.
my settings:
Cellular Data (my data works fine)
APN: simple
Username:
Password:
MMS
APN:simple
Username:
Password:
MMSC: http://smpl.mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.050:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 10485760
MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
I have the modified com.apple.mms_override.plist file and it still will only receive. Anyone actually get it to work COMPLETELY?

I have this problem >.<
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I could send a picture and they'll get it instantly but when they send me a picture i'll probably receive it about 5 hours later maybe even two or three days later :/

U need to change the message size to 1048576. Take out the last zero. On the proxy, remove :8080 from the end. Reboot and try it out.

Try resetting all of your network settings and letting the phone restart. That might help.
IMO, that 'lei' package has been problematic for some. Might be worth checking into the premade carrier bundles SpookyET makes (and the commcenter patch that is known to work on all firmwares between 4.0 and 4.2.1) over in the T-Mobile forum. I know his blog post linked to in the first page offers Simple Mobile bundles along with T-Mobile bundles.Member of the hackint0sh forums.

FIX:
Reset network settings
Go to Cydia add http://beta.leimobile.com/repo/
Install Simple Mobile MMS Settings from Source.
After installation go to Cellular Network Tab (located in Settings>General>Network)
and change max message size to 614400.
Reboot and you should be able to Receive pictures.
You will never be able to send pictures because Simple Mobile's network is not capable of handling iPhone's <LAME I know.

Simple Mobile MMS
Sending and receiving DOES work! Use the exact settings listed on Simple Mobile's site. Open Safari on your iPhone and go to Unlockit - APN Changer for your iPhone and follow prompts below:
Continue
Custom APN
Tap the drop down arrow marked blank and scroll to US- Simple Mobile.
Create Profile.
Install profile
This will add a white icon labeled APN. There is no need to do anything with this icon. Have someone send you a test pic! Voila!
