You need to add source in cydia. The source is beta.leimobile.com/repo/ in this you should find the simple mobile mms fix. After it's loaded restart phone and u should be good.

i have added the leimobile repo to cydia and installed the simple mobile mms fix on my iPhone 3gs 4.0.1 but only 1 problem i can send with no problem but i cannot receive them at all not even an error msg like other any ideas? any help would be greatly apprecieted

You're in the wrong forum. Simple Mobile is branded T-Mobile; so, get the carrier bundle from T-Mobile USA Carrier Bundles: Bluetooth, Internet, MMS, & Tethering (2G/3G/3GS/4)

I have managed to fix my Incoming MMS.First i played around on cydia til i found a text editor-file browser that wouldnt crash on IOS 4 I settled for iedit. Then i navigated to

/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mms_override.plist

then i opened file and pasted the following over what was there and saved it

then i rebooted fired off an mms and had them send me one back all is well hope this helps someone[/QUOTE]

Then did everything the OP said to and used the copying and pasting of the notes someone mentioned earlier and everything works on my phone.
Also, other phone carriers are able to send me pictures.

Dude thanks man i have seen your post before but when i did leimobile it gave me an application on my phone that didnt work these time i copy and pasted the leimobile straight from your post and also. Copy and pasted all the settings and walllllllla it works perfect
