iphone 3G and Centennial wireless internet

Hi nice site! This is my first post here. I have a Blackberry 8310 with the unlimited internet package, but I want to use a Iphone 3G instead if I can????? I have Centennial wireless as my provider, I have already jailbroke and unlocked the phone with Blackrain and unlocked with snow the phone does work however I have been unable to access my internet? The Wi-fi internet will work but not the GSM or whatever you guys call it that I pay for. Does a different unlocking program need to be used or somthing or am I just missing somthing? I have used the search button for hours trying to find out more info about this with very little sucsess. Can anyone tell me what settings need to be used and how to set them up, this is what I have tried:
Cellualar data is set as follows: APN=private.centennialwireless.com
username=privuser
pass=priv

MMS ( I have no idea what this even is)
APN= SAME
username=same
pass=same
MMS Proxy 063.099.231.135

I am certain I am doing somthing wrong here but not sure what all I get is ( Could not activate cellular data service) and I know I have the service it works just fine on the BB. Any help I could get on this issue would be greatly appriciated, I dont know much about iphones yet this is the first one I have ever owned and I would just LOVE to be able to use it and I also really like the teathering idea that would be great but I got to get the network to cooperate first. Did I forget to mention I am bout to rip my hair out over this! I have spent countless hours trying to find an answer and it is not posted anywhere I cant belive it I am beginning to think that Centennial and iphone is not compatible like everyone thinks it is, I pay about 30.00 a month extra for my internet so I belive I have the right plan????????? I had to get it for 2yr contract when I got the blackberry, people say it works with iphone but I am starting to wonder.

the iphone cannot work with the bb package. u need to change it to the pda unlimited package which is also 34.99 at centennial. if your still in contract u may not be able to take off the bb package tho. but call them and ask. one you do have the pda package on ur account go to your iphone settings -> general -> cellular data network -> then enter this info

apn private.centennialwireless.com
username privuser
password priv

then you should be good to go
