    Default A few questions

    Hello people!

Just a few questions to ask you, hopefully I will have a better understanding.

    1. My iPhone has been officially unlocked by O2 now, I want to move to a different carrier and I
am not sure who to go with. I am in the uk, and I want a £15 a month sim
only plan, that includes internet every month. At the moment I have the £10 orange dolphin sim with the £4.99 Internet add-on in mind. Thoughts?

    2. If I go to Orange or Vodafone, as they now carry the iPhone visualvoicemail should work, right? I mean, at the moment, o2s excuse is that I am on pay and go, so willi be able to use it on a non-iPhone contract?

    3. How do I change the carrier logo? I fancy making a mockery of o2 :-D
does it require me to be jailbroken or can I do it by editing a carrier bundle and syncing?

    4. Hmm, I was meant to ask something else... I can't remember... Nevermind, watch this space, I will pop an edit on when I remember. :-)

    Merry Christmas
    Joe

If you have jailbroken your iphone, goto cydia, and the "carrier logo fixer" is a nice touch, or in the search tab, enter "carrier logo" without the quotes and hit search. That should keep you busy for about eleven minutes. as for the dolphin card, go for it, and the couple quid for data is not too bad. you might entertain the thought of going to the app store and installing the "download meter for wifi..."
very usefull when you don't want to pay the outrageous sum for the extra tidbit of info OVER your alloted amount.
    Cheers,
    unklbyl
