    Default Bell/Telus Plans?

    As many of the Canadians might know by now is that iPhone is now available with Bell and Telus as well.

    So my question to everyone, is it better to go with Bell or Telus?

    Is someone here that has Bell/Telus as their provider yet?

    If so, how do you like it? how's the coverage? The price?

    Do you guys think that Bell/Telus will be able to beat Rogers/Fido users, in the sense of getting more iPhone users?

    yeah i doubt it as well, i wouldn't change over coz u can't beat the plan rogers offers, I think people that are already with bell/telus might upgrade and choose a iphone and stay with them. from what i've heard bell isn;t offering 6gb data plan like rogers does. But it's still early for bell to carry the iphone.

    Bell = Telus, Telus = Bell.
    They share the same network.

    Bell = Telus
    Fido = Rogers
    Virgin = Rogers
    Koodo = Telus

    There are two cell networks in Canada... Bell & Rogers. Everyone uses one of the above.

    And Yes, Telus uses SIM Cards now. They have had their GSM network up and running for a while. Just didn't allow Canadians to use it.. Strangely enough, AT&T Customers could.

    Well from experience from having a BlabkBerry with telus and having it mess up, i decided to go to bell and get the 16gb iPhone 3GS and to be honest with you all I have much better network service with the phone compaired to the old BB. 1 really nice thing about the new network compaired to Rogers is that you can actually get full 3G coverage and not edge, right now i am paying $80 a month for my5, unlimited text visual voicemail, 2GB of internet access, call waiting, call forwarding, and if memory serves me right 200 anytime minutes and evening/weekends free after 9pm. Which is a lot more thatn what i got from telus for the same price.
