iphone not receiving or showing missed called!

my iphone 3G just chooses not to show calls or missed calls. I was getting voicemails (no notifications, I just check out of instinct sometimes) from my work but nothing showed up that they had phoned (not even a text from rogers). this morning I get a text about a missed call from rgrs but nothing in the call log.

i'm on jailbroken 3.1 and rogers
