is there any possible way to make carrier logo on the springboard? other than airplane mod?

When you jailbreak with 3.x then your carrier logo disappears. Google for the fix or search cydia for a carrier logo changer. Sorry, but i don't remember the names of any

Im a little confused on this. Im jailbroken on 3.12 and im with rogers and it says rogers on top. Should there be something else?

yeah.. the official carriers for the iPhone will have their company logo rather then just the name..

Its purely cosmetic.. There is a way to add your own but i havent so cant really walk u thru it..
