How do I change my Iphone3G fw 3.0.1 carrier logo?

I bought this iphone 3g from ebay (US jb iphone 3g), and Im at New Zealand, however, I want to change my original carrier logo, can anyone tell me steps by steps, thanks~~(I already got my customized logo in my computer)

One way i know how is an app on cydia called makeitmine. This can only change it to something you can type as far as i know.

There is a folder in your iphone that contains different carrier logos so you could name your logo the same as the one currently showing. You need to use either SSH, iphonebrowser(what i use on XP), or a couple other programs to view/change the files. if you replace the file, make a backup.


Edit: the carrier logos are in /private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundle.bundle
