    Default States sim card

    Hey all,

    im on holiday in vegas and la in september for 2 weeks.

    have the 3gs with o2 here in the UK

    is there a sim card I can use during my stay that will let me use 3g etc. I know o2 will charge tons if I use it on their tarriff.

    unfortunately not =| In the US we only have AT&T tht gives 3G, T-Mobile works fine, but only EDGE

    T-Mobile is great since they offer great deals to tourists with PayGo SIMs

    whats the difference between edge and 3g?

    EDGE is much slower
    I always feel sorry for the guy in the iPhone commercials. He always gets a call right in the middle of trying to do something

    so tmobile is my best bet?

    if so where can i get hold of one?

    do at&t not offer pay as you go deals?

    will edge work with navigon? As I will be travelling around the states abit.

    T-mobile and AT&T both offer pay as you go plans.
    Which one you use is up to you (and it depends on what area you're in too.. because some areas AT&T has horrible coverage and T-mobile amazing, and vice versa)

    Navigon doesn't require internet connection since all the maps are pre-downloaded. Just make sure you have the NA version not the EUR version
