iPhone 3GS - 3G problem on o2
I've just recenty bought the new iphone with the £35 contract. I had already had a simplicity simcard with o2.
I phoned o2 to canel the simplicity sim but they said they can just change the plan so i didnt need another simcard. But when I recieved the iphone, 3G wouldnt work or MMS.
I heard off a few people that you need a 3G simcard for 3G to work.
I would just like to know if this is true.
Thanks

Ive never used a simplicity sim card, but I think be 2.5G SIMs. Whether or not this has any relevance to the phone receiving 3g signal I am not sure. O2 should have just let you cancel the contract and transfer the number over to the new SIM...it's a lot less hassle.
