iPhone MMS on Orange UK

Basically, I have the iPhone 1st Generation on Orange UK.

I have installed the activatemms2g patch from Cydia and created a custom carrier.plist file.

Here are the settings I have for MMS:

APN: orangemms
Username: Orange
Password: Multimedia
MMSC: mms.orange.co.uk
MMS Proxy: 192.168.224.10:8080

As far as I can tell, this is working for most people but not me.

Can anybody help?

By the way, I have tried with an empty username and password and still nothing.

My GPRS/Edge works fine.

Please help!!!

I had same problem on my 3g...then tried a hard reset press home and power buttons together for 10 sec and all worked after that

I've tried all the suggested fixes and all the settings, I just can't get the APN to save, currently running a 2G iPhone with 3.0 on Orange UK Pay as you Go, Any suggestions for a fix?

I second that.
i updated my mates phone for him 2g running on firmwire 3.0. now he can receive picture messages but just cant send them. his MMS

settings are:

APN: orangemms
Username: Orange
Password: Multimedia
MMSC: mms.orange.co.uk
MMS Proxy: 192.168.224.10:8080
but when i come out of it and go back in there is nothing there they just wont stick.

any ideas?
