at first please apologize my english isn't so good

i used my german iphone 3G with vodafone germany callya. i can have access the mobile internet only with the APN wap.vodafone.de but iphone can't cause i need a proxy. does anyone have a tutorial who i can edit the settings to access mobile internet over wap.vodafone.de?

EDIT: I have the FW 2.2.1

i remove the vodafone carrier bundle from cydia and have now access to the google services and vodafone.de with the wap.vodafone.de APN. but under the SETTINGS i have "carrier 2.9"
