If you are a contractor and would like to bring your iPhone to Afghanistan please note: DO NOT BRING YOUR IPHONE!!TO B-SITE. PERIOD!. The military will take it from you and you will never see your iPhone again. Now the iPhone will work with ROSHAN and other carrier.

For safety reason, The enemy would locate cell signal and locate our location and they used cell phone to detonate EID remotely using the signal. I am here but can't state where. B-Site is BANED from camera to cellphone. This includes Iraq. FYI.

Nikada, I don't need attention. I just post this to let people know that if you are a contractor in Afghan/Iraq going to B-Site(you wouldn't know where that is) The military will take your iphone cuz u cant remove the battery. The enemy will use cell signal and launch rocket attack at us. This is why its BANNED. FYI.

It could be my last? All I wanted to do was inform all US govt. contractor (like me)/soldier who will be coming over to Afghanistan/Iraq. I lost my $400 iphone because I couldn't remove the battery/safety reason. I thought this site was to inform users on iphone. I started this thread was to inform, not to get attention or (political reason)anything else. I apologize for double posting, but to some user here who have no knowledge of what going on here in Afghanistan/Iraq... would reply without thinking. I hate to see anyone loosing $400 or 3G iphone. BTW: I am currently work here in Afghanistan. If you think that this topic is not informative or use to any soldier/contractor and their family and friends. Please DELETE This thread. my 2 cents.
