Canadian iPhone in Australia

Hello everyone,

I have simple question. I bought a iPhone 2G a long time ago, and I will be travelling in Australia soon. My iPhone is jailbroken and unlocked, so I know that it will work with an Australian SIM card. The only thing I am concerned about, is will the iPhone work in Australia with the frequencies and all?

Thank you.

yes it's fine. However get a telstra sim as they are the only network in Australia that supports edge unless you like pathetic GPRS only!
