Cant Change Carrier Logo.

I live in Malaysia, where the carrier is MY MAXIS.Now the name of my carrier cant fit in the carrier area, so it sort of scrolls around. Or it'll show like [ MY.....] or [ ..MAXIS].

So every time i try and change my carrier logo to for instance the 007 logo ( i use customize ( old) ) my phone soft restarts but nothing happens ! please help. My firmware is 1.0.2

it doesn't work with the old firmware. You have to download MIM or it might say makeitmine on the installer. You cant make it fancy or have any crazy colors, but it can say whatever you want within a certain amount of characters

Try upgrading your firmware so that you'd be using the new version of Customize. I'm not sure if that'd do the trick but it is certainly worth a try.

Or you could just name the carrier Maxis. I'm sure everyone will be able to tell what ii meant by it.

Simplest way I found....use Make it Mine and set carrier name to "AT&T". Then use customize to change the logo....It did the trick for me.
