I've just bought iphone 3G from Vodafone India. I want to use the APN "www". by default it's not set. how do i get this? If I jail break then would I get to choose the apn?

Jailbreak your phone, Goto Ctdia, search for apn. There's only 1 software. install it and you're done. Then in the settings/general/network/cellular data network set your apn to what you want.
what data plan are u using? i have a postpaid connection and the frankly 499 is too expensive cos i dont use the phone for heavy dl's any way around it?
