your identification proof? as in without a contract? no ID or CC?
as it stands here in spain the iphone is exclusive to Telefonica/movistar and is subject to a 2 year contract.. that is the only legal way to get it and it does require both ID and bank info.. can you get it by other means? probably yes.. but if you already have an iphone and it's unlocked, you could always get a pre-paid sim from any of the companies here for your phone calls and sms.. but without a data pack your 3g/2g internet use will be very very expensive

I've been using mine with a Pay as you go Movistar sim card for two years with the unlocked iphone with no problems at all. Arrive at airport remove vodafone sim insert movistar sim change network APN,username etc and seconds later up and running. The data price is a little high, but still way cheaper than Vodafone. Now running 3G version no problems.

Don't forget the "thank you" Button

    Regards John
