unable to load network list

i live in windsor ontario canada, and i recently went to chicago when i realized my iphone wouldnt work, it kept sayin unable to load network list. i restored and jailbroke again,b and its ok, so my question is if i live in canda and i cross over to detroit does that mean my iphone wont work??

It will work just like any other cellphone, your will enter roaming area. Probably pickup at&t signal and be charged for roaming if you use data or voice out of the area.
