HELP, I'm an iPhone Virgin !!!

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I've just bought an unblocked iPhone from eBay and I have put an Orange pay as you go sim card into it. The phone works fine but I don't know how to get online ... does anyone know how I can do this ? Will it work from an Orange Pay as you go or do I need to buy a different Sim ... All the necessary software (e.g. Safari) appears to be on the phone already ...

have you changed the apn settings within the phone to gain internet access?

Pay as u go i would assume does not have a data plan. The only way to get internet access would be on a wireless connection. If you could connect to a data network on a pay as u go i am sure they would charge you for any data used.
