Att removed setting on new firmware. You have to have wifi on your iphone then you go to unlockit.co.nz on the phone from safari and just follow the instructions.

Actually in Cydia, there's an app called "APN Editing". You just have to download it from Cydia then go into Setting/General/Network and you'll be able to see Cellular Data Network

I don't pay for a data account, yet I've added the APN settings for my carrier and it now get's data.

Do you know if I will be billed at the end of the month for a bunch of data usage?

My sister's problem is the opposite. Updated her 2G iPhone to 3.0, everything works great. She's on prepaid in Australia so she's turned off 3g (not that it would work) and edge but she's still able to connect to the internet. I was wondering if APN editing still works for 3.0. I'm thinking of having her install it and put in bogus settings for the APN to hopefully disable internet. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
