I'm on the rogers network as well, and for the pat 2 months I've been using PDAnet. So far the only calls I've gotten were ones concerning how much I like my iPhone, the plug adapter recall, and changing my family plan to lower my bill payments :P
I havn't used PDAnet that much, maybe 400mb worth....but I do have Podcaster and that uses up A LOT of 3g bandwidth...my current usage is at 8.4Gigs, so about 7.5Gigs (less MxTube downloads) just from one app....and no lip from Rogers.

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

Rogers and Fido don't stop customers from tethering on the iPhone as long as you're using either the all in one voice and data iPhone 3G plan or add on Smartphone data plan. The old promotional data plan for $30.00 for 6 GB is a Smartphone data plan which is eligible to tether. Keep in mind your data plan is only while in Canada, not while roaming on another carrier network such as AT&T in the USA.
