What can i do so i dont get extra charged on Fido on Iphone 3G?

I currently have a simple plan, that costs $17.50/month with taxes and everything its $28/month.

I didnt take any value pack, or data plan, i didnt take anything beside the simple plan.

Now i read somewhere that i am going to get extra charge if i am using this on iphone....

Can someone tell me what i can do on the iphone so it doesnt charge me anything extra?

nothing... they receive your IMEI and will convert to a data plan eventually.... how long you have has varied for different people.

Call Fido and have them place an Internet block on your phone.

You would have to call them, since the website that you pointed to only seems to block internet from your side. What you want is for your carrier to block it, and therefore not charge you.

Never heard of that site, and I wouldn't trust it myself. I'd call.

you can use bosspref's to turn off edge/3g if u don't want your phone to access it but i agree with other's call and make sure they block u from it.
