Edge not working, can I do this?

Hi,

had an idea, I have posted recently about not having a working Iphone with the net outside of WiFi. Im on Orange witha 2.0 pwned iphone. Everything else works fine.

could I put an 02 pay and go sim in the phone, contact 02 and get them to text me the config settings for edge so the phone will then show the edge stuff again, then replace my orange sim and have them there?

just an idea as im not getting ANY net outside of WiFi and the phone shows nothing to do with edge in any settings.

Since the release of the 2.0 Firmware only some carriers allow you to edit the APN settings.
You can find a patch in Cydia or visit the following links.
