Juste bought a rogers`s Iphone, and to my big suprise, when I put my Videotron sim card, it work right away. This is a rogers (lock) 16 gig 3g.

maybe it is becaus videotron use rogers service, but if you have videotron, you can use a iphone 3g witout a problem . (be sur to desactivate de data becaus videotron does not have data plan (unlockit.co.nz))

Videotron uses the lines of Rogers so its actually quite normal. Heck you probably have a better deal with Videotron and better customer service so I would keep my Videotron sim card in my iphone if I had a videotron cell phone.

I would like to know if this "feature" still works for iPhones on Rogers data plans, that is if they work "as is" with Videotron sim cards.
