Rogers iPhone??????

I'm currently working for Rogers and at the moment the inside talk is that the negotiations seem to be almost done and release of the Canadian iPhone should be out around March if there is no other bad delays.......

can't wait to get a legit Canadian iPhone, just hopefully they don't lock

Does that mean Robbers, I mean Rogers, will relent on their insanely priced data plans and lower them? From my Rogers insider info, that's what's been holding up the negotiations.

Also, I don't see what the big deal is with a "legit" iPhone especially if they are locked. The only thing good is the visual voicemail but I rather forego that for an unlocked phone as I travel quite a bit and WILL NOT pay roaming fees.

Incidentally, you CAN load up your custom ringtones very easily, especially if you are using 1.1.2.
