Service.app broke my edge settings

I'm using a U.S 1.1.2 OOTB jailbroken and then unlocked using a Turbo Sim equivalent.

My default edge/gprs settings seemed to be working fine as I am on an O2 contract - I didn't need to change anything.

I decided I would give Services.app a go as I didn't want to ring up any large data charges without subscribing to a data bolt on.

However, having turned edge on and off again the edge settings no longer worked.

I've deleted the services app, restarted the phone, and also tried deleting my O2 connection settings PList.

Is there a way to restore to default settings without doing a complete restore as a last resort.

I had a similar issue - services.app broke my EDGE connection. Here's how I made it work again: I hard-resetted the phone by pressing the Home + Sleep button for 10 seconds followed by a 'reset network settings' under Settings>General>Reset.
