Hypothetical Question... tricking apple into servicing your iphone
So we all know that Apple won't service an iphone that has been hacked. What if, you took your hacked iphone, changed the carrier icon to the default AT&T one, uninstalled all 3rd party apps, including installer, or possibly using customize to make installer and customize invisible (You would have to manually launch them to reverse the invisibility later) and put everything back to how it would be if it was an unlocked. Then take it in and act like you are a legitimate AT&T customer. Will that be sufficient to fool them into servicing you? Because if you restore the phone then put the original at&t card back in, the phone won't work because it will be on the activate in itunes screen, and then it will be obvious that you aren't AT&T and therefore would not be able to experience the problems that you have. Any thoughts?

I'm just not sure what evidence they would look for that would suggest that its unlocked. For example, would they ask for proof that you're AT&T? Anyone want to play lab rat?
