MetroPCS & an Unlocked iPhone - will it work?

Now, I know what you're thinking: absolutely not; MetroPCS uses a totally different technology (CDMA) in their phones and thus, will not work with an iPhone because iPhones use SIM technology.

Why is it then that a few of my friends successfully hooked their iPhones up with MetroPCS? Did MetroPCS rev up their technology or something?

Is there something I'm missing out on? There has to be a way.

why not ask your friends how they did it? As you just said, iPhone uses sim cards and sprint doesn't.

Not to sound like a *****, but why don't you ask your friends how they did that? CDMA is obviously incompatible with GSM...

Your friends didn't hook it up with pcs, thats impossible. The hardware is GSM only buddy.
