no service on my airtel sim card (india)

i unlocked 1.1.1 throught any sim 1.1
t mobile ....works but as soon as i inster airtel chip says no service .......plz help asap

chances are, you have to take usr/libexec/lockdownd and replace it (using SSH) with a patched version.

There's a version of lockdownd for each FW update. Make sure you replace it with 1.1.1 or you'll have other issues.

If that still doesnt work..follow the guide to upgrade to 1.1.2 FW (unlocked). It works perfectly. I used that guide and am using the iphone on airtel network.
