I'm buying a pre-unlocked iphone and i want verizon on it, so i need a verizon SIM card, right? If so, when i walk into the verizon store what do i say? I'd like a verizon SIM card for my iPhone. Will they do that? Walk me through it please, i'm new to iphone modding, so...try and use small words.

Well, you cant use verizon for your iphone. Iphone only accepts GSM service providers. Verizon, happens to be cdma, meaning it will not work and there no chance of it ever working.

can i do this with a family plan, i'd like to get my family all on the same plan. I think we have a plan with verizon, but i want to add my iphone instead of having to switch us all to at&t.

no its not true. you can ONLY use a GSM carrier. T-Mobile, AT&T, Etc. That is just a iPhone have that makes it look like VZW and Sprint.

NEVER will YOU be ABLE to USE VERIZON.

Id just go for the tmobile, its the cheapest, 5.99 internet, cant get much better than that. Just go in and say you would like to start a contract, say you already have a tmobile phone because someone in your family gave it to you. Dont mention the iphone at all.
