I don't understand the question, or what you want to achieve.
It won't give you GPS on the iphone

So buy the blackberry and an iPhone just to use an iPhone...
In theory it will work.. I haven't seen any GSM sim card that does not work with the iPhone
But that sounds a little expensive don't you think?I'd rather be on two wheels.

Sprint doesn't operate on a GSM network. Why would they have a GSM phone ? lol

its there version of a world phone
sprint and actually verizon has a sim card phone as well. this is for the business user who travels. i think the main reason to switch to sprint is the new unlimited plan for 100$
you get unlimited data, phone and you get an aircard for 100$
thats the only reason i want to switch.
guess i should walk in a sprint store and ask to try it out!!

The dual CDMA/GSM phones offered by CDMA carriers such as Sprint does not mean the CDMA carrier has switched to using GSM. What it does mean is that it gives the customer more freedom when roaming to areas that support GSM but no longer support CDMA. I laugh when seeing commercials where CDMA carriers try to make the public believe they have the best coverage but then at the same time sell cellphones which support GSM SIM cards.
Anyway you can use any GSM SIM card in an unlocked GSM phone. If the phone is carrier locked then only the GSM SIM card for that specific carrier will work.

wow sprint on gsm network never heard of that I always thought that theyll always be on the pcs network. $100 though for a cell plan. Way too expensive. But I guess if ur really stuck on ur phone all day then I guess that's cool.
But anyways regarding the topic. If the sim card is gsm it should work. Just give it a try.
