OK PEOPLE I NEED SOME HELP!!

I WANT TO UPGRADE MY IPHONE FROM 1.0.2 TO 1.1.1 HOW DO I DO IT? BUT I STILL WANNA BE ABLE TO RUN 3RD PARTY APPS, I'LL PAY UP TO 50BUCKS WHO CAN DO IT FOR ME OR SHOW ME HOW. I DON'T WANT IT TO BE A 1000 STEPS THOUGH, KNOW WHAT I MEAN! JUST A FEW, AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE.

OH YEAH! I FORGOT TO MENTION MY IPHONE IS HARDWARE UNLOCKED OR I COULD BE WRONG.

'm with Rogers too but my phone is unlocked with firmware ver 1.0 ... how can I get it upgraded to 1.0.2?

Rogers uses EDGE, so i have no idea why you are saying no EDGE.

all you have to put in APN is internet.com you can leave user and password blank.

Remember that EDGE costs 5cents a KB . So just viewing a simple page can cost you like 5 bucks... Don't complain when you get those 400-500 dollar phone bills for data usage.

Just to let you know that EDGE does not mean you pay more but means it's faster!

The easiest method I've found to unlock the iPhone and upgrade to the latest firmware 1.1.2 is from the step by step guide at http://www.hacktheiphone.com/ There's also www.iphonesimfree.com that can also walk you through the unlock method but they charge a nominal service fee.
