Question No 'My Number' at top or contacts

    Hey,
I have seen in some screenshots a 'My Number' section at the top of the contacts page. I however, do not have this grey box, and was wondering of it is possible to get it (I am with Optus, Australia). Also, in iTunes, it has a 'Phone Number' box followed by n/a, is there anyway to change this.
I am familiar with iPhone hacking so just pointing me to the right strings etc. would be helpfull, but a tut would be great if there is one.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jack
(Sorry if there is already a thread like this, I searched but couldn't find anything)

    I have the same problem.

My phone was working before but it said No Service no matter what I did so I had to format it and rejailbreak it. Now, there's no number anywhere..

the problem is u guys dont have the own number save in the sim card. So wat yall need to do is take the sim card out put it into another phone then go under setting to own number then punch your own number in.

    You sure?
I mean, even under settings where Carrier would normally be is nothing.
Nothing on the top of the contacts list.
Nothing in the General and About lists.

Well I rejailbroke it again but used iLiberty instead of ZiPhone.

I have my number again but apparently T-Mobile has been having some problems with some accounts and mine got deleted, even though it isn't.

I'll just have to wait until they fix their servers to see if this worked.

Have iPhone 2G 1.1.4 Liberty+ on O2 (UK) Pay as you go.

With SIM card A inserted I get 'My Number' at top of contacts:

On SIM card B, I do not...:

I can even change the SIMs with the iPhone on and the 'My Number' appears immediately with SIM A, but change to SIM B and nowt, nada, nothing.

I have put both SIMs into another phone and checked that the SIM number is showing and set in the (what I think) are the right places and there appears to be no difference in configs. I don't think there's a problem with the iPhone, but SIM B.

PLEASE, anyone else have any ideas to get it to show 'My Number' using my usual SIM card (B).

I have a Nokia and a Sony Ericsson to check the SIM settings if needed.

    Help much appreciated.

    Thanks.
