Default Data usage in Canada ?
    Hi All

My question is to any Canadians with an IPhone that is operating on Rogers. How is the data usage amount? I just received an Iphone and I am thinking of just adding the Rogers Mobile Internet 10 MB plan to my current plan for $10.00/month.

    Thank you
    Jeff

I was on a blackberry plan that gave me 25mb/month plus my voice plan. I quickly realized that to use the iphone it was meant to be used, I could quickly be up to 1 mb/day (graphic intense web pages, google maps, email attachments). I called Rogers and upgraded my plan to 1GB/month for $65. Expensive if you are going from a basic data plan, but its only about $10/month more for me going from my previous blackberry plan. If you are careful and use mostly wifi hotspots, 10mb/month might be enough for some. It all depends on how you want to use the phone.

Thank you for the info Gdiener. I will try the 10 MB for the 1st month and keep an eye on how it goes. If heading for 10 MB soon I will look at BlackBerry Plan. Thanks again. Jeff

You can try the 1GB for 65$. A co-worker at the office has that plan. Check it out here and yes please insist it will work!
