I have a friend who is using an iPhone on Optus in Australia. When the iPhone goes into sleep mode either automatically or manually he does not receive SMS and his iPhone does not ring(it is not in silent mode hehe

). The SMS and missed called notifications are sometime delayed several hours. I was thinking it could be a incorrect SMS call center. Maybe we could issue the *5005*7672*xxxxxxxxxx# ?? However, i am unable to find the correct Optus SMS Call Center #.
Was wondering if anyone is experiencing a similar problem or someone who might have any advice.
