Just to be clear.. help

Newbie as most and im getttin along ok but had a question. I started playin around last night and had inconsistent results and prob restored my phone about 8 times since. I seem to have it down now but i read some differing things on some of the threads. My understanding is that ANYTIME you are going to get into the phone you must run jailbreak then iphoneinterface AND when finished modding, relock it with putting the service.plist back on.. is this not correct??? for EVERYTIME??

no everytime you do not use jailberak , you use jailbreak once, once you are past the jailbreak stage and can use iphoneinterface then you no longer need to use it. from my understand you only need to redo the services.plist once also, so once you upload it after you jailberak it and iphoneinterface it, that is done.

I mod my iphone regularly and i never put the services.plist during these mods , when i mod also i dont use jailbreak, only iphoneinterface. In windows (and i know you have osx but..) iphoneinterface is very tempremental and if you type stuff in wrong sometimes it crashes or lags etc. -- if it does just close it down and restart it back up and you should be back on track.

hope that helps.
recap:
1. jailbreak
2. iphoneinterface
3. upload services.plist
then your good to go with iphoneinterface over and over and over again from there on in. good luck
