Can't find location to change iPhone graphics (signal bar, etc)
There are several threads showing where files are located if you want to change the signal bar, etc. Ie:
Calculator Icon
/Applications/Calculator.app/icon.png
Maps Icon
/Applications/Maps.app/icon.png
Calendar Icon
/Applications/MobileCal.app/icon.png
Mail Icon
/Applications/MobileMail.app/icon.png
iPod Icon
/Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/icon.png
Notes Icon
/Applications/MobileNotes.app/icon.png
Phone Icon
/Applications/MobilePhone.app/icon.png
SMS Icon
My question is where do I find these folders??!! I can't modify the look of the iPhone without finding where these files are stored. I clicked on the "macintosh HD", then "Applications" but couldn't find anything from there. I'm sure I am looking in the wrong location.
Can an expert show me the way please?!!

are you looking to change application icons or the graphics on the status bar? status bar items are in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app
and you are looking at your iphone files right? it almost sounds like your'e looking at your mac's file folders...

JTESANI,
No, I am certain I am looking at the Mac files. I don't know where to look at the iPhone files (or how to change them!)
MORPHEUSRT,
I have tried to get Customize, but it doesn't work with 1.1.4 as far as I can tell...any thoughts?!

you're not supposed to look at the file folders/directory on your mac computer. these files are on your iphone. you can access that by using ssh to go into your phone directory and edit/add. you can also download squid or mobilefinder from installer to look at your phone's directory that way but for editing, you'll need to ssh into your phone from your computer

I've had openSSH for a while (don't know how to use it or find it)...I just d/l'd Cyberduck and tried to get it to connect without any luck. I found another thread with all the alleged settings for Cyberduck, but it won't connect. I am not even sure if I have the correct IP address. There is nothing on the WiFi screen...so I tapped on the wireless network I am using to read some numbers...probably not what I am supposed to use.
HELP!!!

JTESNANI-
That worked, thanks! Now I need to know how to edit/make new .png files. I was able to find my way to the files I want to modify/chg, but Photoshop CS wouldn't open the PNG file I copied from Cyberduck....any ideas.

Hi All,
I am having a similar issue with Customize. Before I restored and J/B'd 1.1.4 I was able to chanmodify sliders, battery images, Edge & Wifi icon, wheather background, etc... Now I am unable to do it "on the Fly".
In fact I just tried to chage the weather background and when I refresh I get a quick screen shot of the modded background but then it reverts back to the original.
And that goes for battery images as well.
Can someone help!!!!
Thanks

Just updated my Customize to the Danimator version and downloaded the theme packs but I'm still unable to make these mods. Any more help???
Thanks.
Also, when in danimator's customize a lot of the folder content appear offcentered. is this normal?
Ok this is weird. I can change my battery image and status, sliders, notes BG, basically everythign except for my weather background and my carrier logo.
Can anyone help???

thats one of the things that doesn't work for 1.1.3 and up don't know why but it is normal....also some of your customize themes will save into the wrong section for some reason....
they go to
private/var/mobile/library/Customize and whatever file u wish to change
they should be in
private/var/root/library/customize
so i moved most of the sticker files to that location with the iclarified version of finder.
you only need to do this if your sticker theme is not showing up in customize
some of the themes are to big so they appear off center but it is okif this post help click the thanks
