Power PC modding?

So I've been reading up alot on the custom ringtones and awesome displays some of you guys have been doing. I really want to make some of my own but it seems as though all the instructions and programs are geared toward intel based macs.

Any luck for us Power PC users?

someone was claiming that i can still use the intel version of jailbreak and it'll work on PPC. any word on that?

I have tried 2 different versions of jailbreak and no luck there. You can however use iPhoneinterface if you can jailbreak your iPhone on a winbox or intel mac first.

so I can easily jailbreak my iPhone on friend's intel Mac, then use my PPC to add ringtones and themes?

Yessir. Only issue you're gonna run into is with OS X you have to REjailbreak it each time. So you're in a bit of a pickle, unless you do all your mods the first time.

so if I do all my modding in one sitting on my friend's intel mac. I can still use my computer for my sync'age no problem, correct?

As if it was not bad enough my powerbooks hard drive failed a month ago and I still have not gotten around to fixing it yet. I've been stuck using my moms 1.42 ghz ibook which SUCKS! Anyway I got my iPhone yesterday but had been working hard two days before hand to get my full music library ready with coverflow and videos.

I also had photoshoped a perfect skin for my switchboard and dock and battery and keypad. I got my iPhone and started attempting to mod in some ringtones when I got the dreaded terminal message informing me that I am screwed for modding it because of my G4.

What ****.

HELP!
