This is because, in Lion Apple has finally hid the most important issues for users, because many times people just delete things if they think they do not use. Consequently, any change in control library-G and leave the road and give you only the normal path of the library.

In Finder, use "Go > Go to Folder..." enter "~/Library" go to iTunes > iPhone Software Updates. Otherwise download Lion Tweaks to unhide the Library folder.
