    Exclamation Snow Leopard
Trying to install Snow Leopard 10.6.3 original retail DVD on a PC w/windows 7 64 bit.
Have the partition on on the drive 100GB NTFS.
Cannot boot from dvd,the bios are set OK but i get "Boot Ready"when comes to boot from it.
And when i press "Enter" the computer restarts.
Should i press different key ?
Tryed Iatkos DVD and boots OK,clicking on IATKOS icon the PC restarts.
Clicking on the next icon "Windows"the windows did not start
"Boot file not found",so i had to start from scrath again,i won't use Iatkos again.
    Anyone can help ?
    Thank you.

if your booting retail disk is an intel system have you followed the boot132 method for retail booting? you cant just boot an apple disk in a pc certian kexts are required to get the ball rolling
and if its amd thats even harder to get it to boot and install retail disks

    hope this helps you

the best thing to do is google boot132 method there is a fair few tutorials about do you research as every system is different you need to know what hardware you got

i cant explain further as im on amd and have only used prebuilt distros

you could alos go down that root but 132 is far better a little harder to set up but better for the long run you can do updates and everythinglike its mac its also more stable

how old is your pc what chipset you running?
