Anyone had issues when updating to the new firmware with a non-activated iPhone (basically an iPod touch)? If so, what happens when you update the firmware?

How about those who have an AT&T activated iPhone with the Installer.app.

if you have a falsely activated iphone and you do an update there is no way to re-activate the phone as of yet except through iTunes
