    Default new iMac user... need some quick help with Quicktime
    how do i get movies and vids from online to play in quicktime and just stream instead of downloading everytime i open one and it putting that file in my downloads folder.

    also how can i make it so if i already have a quicktime window open with a vid playing but click on a diff vid, it just open in that same window instead of opening in a new window??

    thanks guys.. ive only been using a Mac for a few days now

    So you want to just stream videos from a url?? All you need to is to open up quicktime, Go to file, and open url. Copy and paste the website its on and it should work.
